I’ve been pretty busy since starting full-time at triple j, but I finally found time to cut together some video from our trip to Canada last year.

Our present to you.

Cam Mitchell from Royston Vasie gave us a shout out in his interview with online music magazine Mess+Noise.
Some of my outback timelapse is being featured on the German National Geographic website.
The latest music video I directed for Royston Vasie has just been released on the Triple J website.
Just got back from North America, where we drove, flew, bussed and trained our way from California to Tennessee. Canada video to come soon.
During 2011 I had the pleasure of working closely with Show Me The Way. Chris Maguire and Lola Forester at SMTW run mentorship programs for indigenous teenagers. My role was to help the kids shoot and edit a short video of a role model in their community. We ran the workshops in Brisbane, Wollongong, Adelaide and Sydney. It was a great experience and I look forward to doing it again this year
I’ve been busy shooting timelapse with my new rig for a couple of different documentary projects. Unfortunately I can’t show any of it until the shows go to air, so instead I’ll share this little blast from the past. A short video I shot while I was at home for Christmas a few years ago. I really should get down there more often.
I ordered a dolly a while ago to add a bit of movement to my timelapse shots, but I’ve been too busy to try it out. I finally got around to knocking off some shots and I’m very impressed with the results. Looking forward to venturing a bit further from the house next time and shooting more timelapse in Sydney and beyond.
I’ve been flat out for the last few months. Editing Jabba’s Curious World for National Geographic Channel kept me busy, but I found time to work on some other projects as well.
Seeker Lover Keeper filmed a trio of music videos to promote their new self-titled album. I was the behind-the-scenes cameraman on the day, documenting Barry Otto, Aden Young and John Waters as they mimed the girls’ songs. It was alot of fun and you can watch the behind the scenes video above. Check out the three finished music videos here.
Along For The Ride, a documentary about my roadtrip across the USA, is a personal project I’ve been working on for a while. I recently completed a test claymation animation for the film. You can watch the trailer for Along For The Ride here, and the claymation video is below. Sound design by the excellent David Perry.
